Notes
'Dave's Fave' tea plant (Camellia sinensis 'Dave's Fave') is a shrub for hedges and screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. Its glossy, dark green leaves have serrated edges. White flowers open in early to mid autumn. You can pick the top three young leaves from each branch tip to make tea, or prune it to any size you like.
Pairs well with White Pillar rose of sharon, Allegheny spurge, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
