Notes
'Daybreak' hosta (Hosta 'Daybreak') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It bears lavender-blue flowers from early to late summer, and they are fragrant. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Sorbet peony, Strawberry Sundae panicle hydrangea, and Yellow trout-lily.
