Notes

'Comtesse de Bouchaud' clematis (Clematis 'Comtesse de Bouchaud') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears rose pink blooms that bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Give it a trellis to climb, since it can reach 8 to 12 feet tall.

Pairs well with Trumpet honeysuckle, Garden phlox, and Paperbark maple.
