Notes

'Decorata' hosta (Hosta 'Decorata') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It bears fragrant purple flowers with a white throat from early to late summer, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Plants stay 12 to 18 inches tall.

Pairs well with Sedge, Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea, and Mount Hood daffodil.
