Notes

'Dellam' spotted dead nettle (Lamium maculatum 'Dellam') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist, loamy soil. It forms a low, creeping mat with pink-lavender blooms in spring and again in summer. It sits low on the menu for deer. Growth is rapid, so give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Sagae hosta, Autumn crocus, and Canada wild rye.
