Notes

'Delprim' apple (Malus domestica 'Delprim') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is grown for fresh eating, and bees visit the spring blooms. Plant a second apple nearby, since this tree is not self-fertile. George Delbard nursery bred it in the 1960s.

Pairs well with Honeyberry, White mulberry, and Lily of the valley.
