Notes
'Derry Dell' peony (Paeonia 'Derry Dell') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The yellow blooms have a darker center, open in early to late spring, and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Derek Irvine bred it.
Pairs well with False indigo, Mock orange, Lily, and Toad lily.
