Notes
Deutzia (Deutzia setchuenensis) is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 60 to 72 inches tall and wide, so give it room to spread along a property line or border. White flowers open in late spring and early summer, which adds fresh color to the garden after spring bulbs fade.
Pairs well with Weigela, Strawberry Hill rose, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Tall fescue.
