Notes

'Diamant' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Diamant') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Victor Lemoine bred it. Its flowers work well in a vase, so you can cut stems for indoor bouquets. Give it a spot in the border where the shrub has room to grow.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Hicksii yew, and Sedge.
