Notes

'Diamantina' clematis (Clematis 'Diamantina') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The double, pom-pom-like flowers are purple-blue, 4 to 6 inches wide, and last up to 4 weeks. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows to 7 feet, so give it a pergola or arch to climb.

Pairs well with Smooth hydrangea, Jeana garden phlox, and Green Spice coral bells.
