Notes

'Diamond Head' taro (Colocasia esculenta 'Diamond Head') is a perennial for borders, containers, specimens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound that grows 35 to 47 inches tall and keeps its leaves year round. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Give it room to spread 24 to 36 inches wide.

Pairs well with David Howard dahlia, Blue Horizon flossflower, and Calla lily.
