Notes
'Diamond Lake' hosta (Hosta 'Diamond Lake') is a perennial for borders, containers, shade gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 35 to 47 inches wide, so give it room. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the fragrant blooms.
Pairs well with Bride's feathers, Solomon's seal, and Vision in PInk Chinese astilbe.
