Notes

'Dilys' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Dilys') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows 9 to 12 inches tall and can spread up to 36 inches. Soft purple flowers with dark purple veins appear in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit them.

Pairs well with Sundrops, Blue fescue, Paula Fay peony, and Lily.
