Notes

'Dojean' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Dojean') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white flowers have crimson flares and open in late spring to early summer. Sir Peter Smithers bred it. It is a vigorous plant that can reach about seven feet tall.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Sedge, and Snowbrush.
