Notes

'Dolores' chive (Allium schoenoprasum 'Dolores') is an herb for food gardens, containers, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. You can grow it for its uniform, slender leaves for fresh use. Green flowers appear in spring and summer and attract bees and butterflies.

Pairs well with Sage, Lemon balm, and PowWow Wild Berry coneflower.
