Notes
'Doshi' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Doshi') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pick a spot in the border where the shrub has room to grow. You can cut the flowers for bouquets and enjoy them indoors. Tokio Nursery Co. introduced it in 1896.
Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Blue fescue, Cinnamon fern, and Garlic chives.
