Notes
'Douce Beauceronne' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Douce Beauceronne') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink flowers fade to white, while the center stays pink longer for a two-tone look. Stems grow upright to 28 inches and stand up well under rain. François-Léo Tremblay bred it.
Pairs well with Sedge, Grape hyacinth, and New Jersey tea.
