Notes

'Dr Jekyll' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dr Jekyll') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Flowers open in spring and again in summer.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Foxglove, Globemaster allium, and Purple cranesbill.
