Notes

'Drolla' peony (Paeonia 'Drolla') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double creamy pink blooms with a hint of salmon open early, and each stem carries 3 flowers. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Michael Miely bred it, and the new foliage emerges red.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Minuteman hosta, Carlton daffodil, and Western sword fern.
