Notes

'Drummond's Pink' moss phlox (Phlox subulata 'Drummond's Pink') is a perennial for rock gardens, ground cover, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It spreads 12 to 24 inches as a creeping, evergreen mat that tolerates drought and salt. Blooms open from early to late spring and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Gold dust, and Bressingham Ruby bergenia.
