Notes
'Duc d’Aumale' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Duc d’Aumale') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers in the home garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Lemoine bred it in 1887. Plant it near a path so you can reach the stems for cutting.
Pairs well with Juneberry, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Polish Spirit clematis.
