Notes

'Dutch Dwarf' peony (Paeonia 'Dutch Dwarf') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Fragrant fuchsia blooms open early above small mounds of blue-green leaves, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Krekler Peony Farm introduced it around 1985.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Big Daddy hosta, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
