Notes
'Eclaireur' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Eclaireur') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its blooms are a bold fuchsia and magenta that stand out in a sunny border. Auguste Dessert bred it. You can cut the flowers to bring indoors.
Pairs well with Cat mint, Prairie dropseed, Grape hyacinth, and Christmas fern.
