Notes

'Edelweiss' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Edelweiss') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single white flowers are fragrant and open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Blue fescue.
