Notes

'Edulis Superba' peony (Paeonia 'Edulis Superba') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The double pink blooms are fragrant and open early, and the stems bend a little, so you may want to support them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Nicolas Lémon bred it.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Earth Angel hosta, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
