Notes

'Elsa von Brabant' peony (Paeonia 'Elsa von Brabant') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The fragrant double blooms reach about 9 inches across in seashell-pink and blush shades with light apricot. Michael Miely bred it, and it grows up to 35 inches tall.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Limelight hydrangea, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Love-in-a-mist.
