Notes

'Ember's Wish' sage (Salvia 'Ember's Wish') is an annual for borders, containers, and xeriscape beds. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Large coral-red flowers appear all summer above scented foliage, and heat and drought do not fade them. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first. You can grow it in a pot and protect it in winter.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Silver feather grass, Lanceleaf coreopsis, and So White gaura.
