Notes

'Emilia Plater' clematis (Clematis 'Emilia Plater') is a vine for cottage gardens, containers, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Blue flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Brother Stefan Franczak bred it.

Pairs well with Viola clematis, Black Beauty lily, and Little bluestem.
