Notes

'Emily' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Emily') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a compact, upright clump with fragrant, single pink flowers. Kelway bred it, so it makes a nice old-style pick for cutting.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Picture tulip, and Ostrich fern.
