Notes

'Emneth Early' apple (Malus domestica 'Emneth Early') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. William Lynn bred it in 1899. It is grown as a traditional cooker, and the fruit picks early. Light pink flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees.

Pairs well with Flowering quince, Pink Lemonade blueberry, and Greig's tulip.
