Notes

'Empty Feelings' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Empty Feelings') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound up to 30 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide. The golden brown, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them.

Pairs well with Blue sage, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Lanceleaf coreopsis.
