Notes

Encore 'Autumn Embers' azalea (Rhododendron 'Autumn Embers') is an evergreen shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies and hummingbirds visit the flowers. Give it acid soil.

Pairs well with Mountain laurel, Redvein enkianthus, and Columbine.
