Notes
Encore 'Autumn Royalty' azalea (Rhododendron 'Autumn Royalty') is an evergreen shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, so color returns all season. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Mountain laurel, Redvein enkianthus, and Columbine.
