Notes

'Estivale' apple (Malus domestica 'Estivale') is a tree for the food garden, grown for fresh eating. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. The fruit bruises easily, so handle it with care. Delbard bred it in 1950.

Pairs well with Serviceberry, Pink Lemonade blueberry, and Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper.
