Notes

'Etched Glass' hosta (Hosta 'Etched Glass') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. The fragrant blooms attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Give it room, since it spreads at least 24 inches.

Pairs well with Solomon's seal, Vision in PInk Chinese astilbe, and Bride's feathers.
