Notes
'Etna' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Etna') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its red blooms add rich color to a sunny border. They also look good in a vase when you cut them. Goos & Koenemann introduced it in 1910.
Pairs well with Tiger lily, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
