Notes

'Eventide' peony (Paeonia 'Eventide') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears single, fragrant, cup-shaped flowers in deep coral pink that attract bees and butterflies. Lyman D. Glasscock bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, White Feather hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Nodding onion.
