Notes

'Everblooming' forest gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Everblooming') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a moderate pace and forms a dense, evergreen shape. Fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Sasanqua camellia, Blue wild indigo, and Rose of sharon.
