Notes

Evergreen dogwood (Cornus capitata) is a shrub for borders, specimen plantings, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Creamy white to pale yellow bracts decorate its green foliage. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Birds visit the plant, and it keeps its leaves all year.

Pairs well with Mondo grass, Star jasmine, and Red Lion amaryllis.
