Notes

'Fairview' Chinese juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Fairview') is a tree for borders, hedges, and specimen or accent planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. This evergreen keeps a conical shape, grows at a moderate rate, and tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Prickly-pear, Buffalo grass, and Poppy mallow.
