Notes

'Angelica blue' Chinese juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Angelica blue') is a shrub for borders, specimens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. This evergreen grows in a conical shape and tolerates drought and salt. Give it room, since it spreads wider than it is tall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Cat's Pajamas nepeta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Gro-Low fragrant sumac.
