Notes

'Shimpaku' Chinese juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Shimpaku') is a low maintenance shrub for specimen, hedge, and accent plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. This evergreen tolerates drought and salt, and it stays 12 to 36 inches tall. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It spreads 12 to 60 inches, so give it room.

Pairs well with Gro-Low fragrant sumac, Pincushion flower, and Blue Diamond tulip.
