'Gin Fizz' Chinese juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Gin Fizz') is a tree for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It grows in a conical shape at a moderate pace, and this evergreen is drought tolerant and salt tolerant. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Prickly-pear, Buffalo grass, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
