Notes

Chinese juniper (Juniperus chinensis) is a tree for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows in a conical shape with blue to green evergreen foliage, and birds visit it. It tolerates drought and salt.
