Notes

'Falling Waters' pond cypress (Taxodium distichum 'Falling Waters') is a tree for specimen planting, pond edges, and wet spots. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Its arching, weeping branches carry soft, feathery foliage that turns cinnamon brown in autumn. The needles drop in winter and reveal reddish-brown bark that peels in strips.

Pairs well with Norway spruce, Korean spice viburnum, and Horsetail.
