Notes
'Falstaff' apple (Malus domestica 'Falstaff') is a tree for the food garden, grown for fresh eating and juice. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is self-fertile and bears pink spring blooms that attract bees. East Malling Research bred it in 1965. It can get scab, so give it good air flow.
Pairs well with Serviceberry, Pink Lemonade blueberry, and Clematis.
