Notes

'Fancy That' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fancy That') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The medium-sized flowers are wine-red, with a pale cream ball in the center. They have a Japanese form. William Henry Krekler bred it in 1977.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Ostrich fern, and Picture tulip.
