Notes

'Fantasy' peony (Paeonia 'Fantasy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, flat, fragrant flowers open deep pink with a yellow center, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Lilac, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Carlton daffodil.
