Notes

'Favorite' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Favorite') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears single pink flowers in early summer. The blooms are fragrant, so you can cut a few for the house. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it in 1907.

Pairs well with Weigela, Carnaval De Nice tulip, Mallow, and Grape hyacinth.
