Notes

'Fendaiyuxiao' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Fendaiyuxiao') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Late in spring, it bears double reddish-purple flowers that face upward and carry a fragrance. The upright plants reach about 67 inches and need no support.

Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Stella de Oro daylily, and Christmas fern.
